About Maiden Rock East Campground
Our Story
Established in 1971, Maiden Rock East Campground has been providing families with memorable seasonal camping experiences for over 50 years. We had a dream of creating a campground that was more than just a place to pitch a tent. We wanted to create a community where families could come together, enjoy the great outdoors, and make memories that would last a lifetime. We currently have 96 sites spaced along the Cannon River. Also, the Sakatah State Trail crosses the campground entrance and is a beautiful paved path with farmland, trees, flowers, and wildlife to view as you bike or hike.
Our Location
Maiden Rock East is a place to come and relax and get away from routine life and job stresses. There are no planned activities as we feel that the beauty of the land and the time for families to enjoy each other is essential. Located off of Interstate 35 only eight miles west on Hwy. 60. Within 60 minutes of the Twin Cities and it's many attractions.
